Our Classes Are a Fun Place to Learn!
Join Us For Family Music Making!
This is the essential Music Together® class, one that a child can attend from birth to age five through all nine song collections. This basic class follows the recommendations of child development researchers—grouping children of a variety of ages because this fosters natural, family-style learning. Younger children enjoy watching and imitating older ones; older children learn by leading younger ones; and adults are happy because the children in the family can go to class together. Each child participates at his or her own level in singing, moving, chanting, listening, watching, or exploring musical instruments. Any caregivers—parents, grandparents, nanny—can bring the children. The whole family is welcome for this important family music experience.
Music Together® Sing Shalom
Sing Shalom classes introduce Jewish themes, holidays, and celebrate community and family through song, supporting parents and caregivers in introducing their children to a diverse, culturally rich Jewish heritage. Sing Shalom classes use the internationally recognized Music Together early childhood music education program for mixed ages, enriched with a carefully selected collection of familiar (and not-so familiar) Jewish songs from throughout the world.
You'll learn lots of ways to interact musically with your child, supporting their development, strengthening family relationships, and helping them connect with the Jewish music tradition. And best of all, it's fun for everyone!
Tuition includes the Music Together song collection materials (book, CD, download code) PLUS a parent song sheet and links to the new supplemental Jewish curriculum.
Music Together Sing Shalom classes are offered in partnership with The Jewish Education Project. Funding for this pilot initiative has been provided by UJA-Federation of New York.
